OFC is looking for a passionate and skilled Clubs and Leagues Manager to join our team, based at the Home of Football, Te Kahu o’ Kiwa in Auckland, New Zealand.

About the role:

In this role, you will develop, implement and manage frameworks, policies, procedures and regulations, relating to club and leagues development in the Oceania region. We welcome applications from candidates based in New Zealand and overseas.

As the Clubs and Leagues Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating development resources that support the governance structure for clubs & leagues in the Oceania Region, using OFC Learn where possible to develop people in managerial, administration and off-field development roles within OFC and MAs
  • Contribute to the development of linked OFC Club Licensing and MA Club Licensing systems
  • Implement digitalised Club Licensing system through a partnership with COMET / Analyticom
  • Participate in the exciting development of Champions and Domestic Leagues
  • Support the Pro League Leadership Team and Consultants in the delivery of the Action Plan

Skills and experience: 

Our ideal candidate has an understanding of Football, operating within a club environment and an understanding of the Pacific.

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of governance structures and club licensing systems
  • Understanding of the management of professional clubs (A league or pro clubs) and leagues
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, writing and implementing education and training programmes
  • Knowledge of the operational structure of FIFA, OFC, Confederations and Member Associations
  • Strong knowledge of the Pacific Region
  • Understanding of not-for-profit organisations
