OFC U-20 Championship 2007
The 16th edition of the OFC U-20 Championship took place in 2007 and doubled as qualification for the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup™ in Canada.
The tournament was hosted by New Zealand, with all matches played at The Trusts Stadium in Auckland, and was contested between seven nations.
Having transferred to the Asian Football Confederation in 2006, six-time defending champions Australia did not participate.
With five wins and a draw, New Zealand secured their third OFC U-20 Championship title in their absence, only dropping points to the Solomon Islands in a 1-1 draw.
New Zealand suffered narrow defeats to Portugal, Gambia and Mexico in Group play at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada to fail to progress to the knockout rounds.
