OFC Futsal Women’s Nations Cup

The growing popularity of futsal in the Pacific led to the first-ever OFC Futsal Women’s Nations Cup being held in 2024 in the Solomon Islands. This represented not just the growth of the sport in Oceania but also across the world, with FIFA announcing the first-ever FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup, to be held in 2025 in the Philippines.

Five nations competed in the OFC Futsal Women’s Nations Cup in 2024, with New Zealand beating Fiji in the final to become the inaugural champions.
