Tonga have included a North American-based trio in their squad for the OFC Women’s Nations Cup, which kicks off on July 13 in Fiji.

Daviana and Laveni Vaka from the Utah Avalanche have both been named in the squad, along with Canadian club player Kiana Swift, who plies her trade with the Victoria Highlanders club.

The rest of the squad comes from the Tonga domestic scene, with Veitongo FC headlining the representation by supplying six players.

Tonga will take on Samoa and the Cook Islands in an all-Polynesian Group A at the tournament.
