The surrounding conditions for today’s Live Your Goals festival in the PNG Football Stadium in Port Moresby couldn’t have been any better. More than 200 girls of different age groups participated with huge enthusiasm and plenty of joy.
Also in attendance was Susa, the official mascot of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Papua New Guinea 2016, to support the kids with a lot of fun, while they were showcasing their talent or even trying the game out for the first time.
The Live Your Goals programme targets young girls in order to encourage them to play football and bring them together through positive experiences. The campaign is part of FIFA’s long-term engagement for women’s football worldwide.
