OFC Women’s Champions League

2023 was a pivotal year for the development of Women’s Football in Oceania. Member Association New Zealand jointly hosted the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ with Australia, and the event left an indelible legacy for Oceania.

Earlier in the year OFC launched the inaugural OFC Women’s Champions League, hosted by Papua New Guinea in which teams from five Member Associations competed. In 2024 eight teams from eight Member Associations fought for the title in Honiara as women’s football throughout Oceania goes from strength to strength.
