Football was first introduced at the Paris Olympic Games in 1900 as an exhibition sport and remained an exhibition sport for the At Louis Games of 1904. Since 1908 in London football has been held at every summer Olympic Games with the exception of Los Angeles in 1932. Women’s football was first introduced at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
