Earlier in the day, Suva edged out Labasa 1-0 to finish on second place in the four-team tournament while Rewa had to settle for third and winless Labasa finished last.
Goals to Simeli Naresia and Malakai Tiwa earned Ba the trophy, the first major piece of silverware for the 2012 season in Fiji.
Ba president Rishikendra Kumar was delighted with the title win but says the side cannot rest on its laurels.
“The new season has only just started and there are many more competitions to come,” he says.
“We have now achieved back-to-back victories in the last two events – we won the national league title at the end of last year and now the Champions League. I would like to thank the players for their hard work, their families for the support and our fan base.”
Rewa president Yogeshwar Singh says his side failed to make the most of the chances that came its way.
“The boys played well and we were in the game but when we had opportunities to score we could not,” he says. “We lacked quality finishers during the competition and we will look at that area now as we prepare for the national league.”
Ba star Tiwa was named player of the tournament while the day was also particularly memorable for striker Osea Vakatalesau, who had further reason to celebrate as it was his 26th birthday.
