Two feature National Soccer League matches scheduled for today have been called off following the bad weather conditions experienced around the country.
The Labasa vs. Lautoka clash set for Subrail Park and the Ba vs. Suva match at Govind Park have been postponed to a later date as both pitches are not in a playable condition.
Fiji FA National League Board secretary Hari Raj Naicker said the matches will be played at a later date.
“Both the grounds after inspection by our officials were declared unplayable therefore the board has decided to call off the fixtures.”
“The districts have been informed of this decision and we will meet later to decide on the new dates for the fixtures.”
“The other three fixtures, Nasinu vs Nadroga , Nadi vs Tavua and Navua vs Rewa will go on as scheduled as the grounds for these matches are in a playable condition” he added.
