With the new season set to kick off on Saturday, the committee met this week to discuss the prospects of the competition and what it will add to the outlook of females throughout the region.
They also discussed the potential for the league to eventually expand into other provinces in the country, giving more women the opportunity to have their lives enriched by the sport.
PVWFL president Martha Taiwia Poida led the meeting which covered everything from scheduling and venues down to referee refresher courses, sponsors and prizes.
Clubs who have confirmed they will enter a team to participate in the competition are Tafea, Amicale, Tupuji, Mauriki, Ifira, Westam, Lakotau, Lopatu and Lycee.
