Smith played the full 90 minutes in the 2-1 win over Burnley.
Ipswich are still in the relegation zone but their recent form has seen them move off the bottom to 22nd in the 24-team league.
Centre-back Smith also made an appearance earlier in the week, coming off the bench to play 20 minutes in Ipswich’s 5-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.
