The Euro Nationscup was held in Linz, Austria over the weekend with four countries taking part – Tahiti, Switzerland, Slovakia and hosts Austria.
The visiting Tahitians flew into the final after edging the defending Euro Beach Soccer League champions Switzerland in a thrilling play-off on Saturday which they won 7-4.
This led them to an encounter with hosts Austria after they downed Slovakia to earn a 5-2 victory.
The final was very much a one-sided affair as the Tiki Toa showed they are shaping up to be one of the top contenders come September. They dominated the game to take a largely uncontested 10-0 victory over Austria and claim the silverware.
Further accolades were awarded to the Tahitians in the individual awards with Tearii Labaste taking the top-scorer honours.
