The island nation took a 3-0 lead into the final period, before fighting off a late comeback from Iran to seal the victory.
Tiki Toa face Mexico up next in Group B, before taking on world champions Portugal on 5 November, in what will be a rematch of the 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup final.
