The first leg of the home-and-away competition was played on December 9, when Ba took a 1-0 victory and a significant aggregate advantage over their opponents due to the away goal rule.
The second leg was due to be played on December 16 at Govind Park in Ba, but was forced to be postponed because of Cyclone Evan.
The rescheduled match is due to kick-off at Churchill Park in Lautoka on Monday and Suva coach Gurjit Singh says Ba have the upperhand because they have been playing regularly ahead of the encounter.
“Ba have been consistent,” Singh says.
“This is the second time we are going to face them. I think that it’s Ba’s lucky ground because they’ve won a lot of games at Churchill Park, but we’ll come prepared.”
Singh says his side were under prepared for the first encounter, with fitness one of the deciding factors in the loss, and he hopes the preparation they have done will be enough.
“This is the decider and I’ve told the boys they need to prove themselves.”
