The first match on October 9 at North Harbour Stadium is against top Latin American side Honduras. Ranked 46th in the World, they drew with Switzerland and went down 2 – 0 to eventual champions Spain at the FIFA World Cup™.
On Tuesday October 12 Wellington will once again be a “White Out” as the All Whites return to Westpac Stadium to take on Paraguay in the first match at the ground since the dramatic qualifier against Bahrain at the ground last November.
With support for the matches building steadily already through pre-sales to the football community New Zealand Football CEO, Michael Glading, believes this is a great chance get out a support the All Whites against world class opposition.
“I think this is a unique and affordable opportunity for football fans to see three World Cup finalists in their own back yard,” said Glading.
“It’s rare to have teams of the this quality playing on home turf so I encourage everyone to get out and support the All Whites and experience the unique atmosphere of international football.”
