HONIARA – Honiara’s soccer mad population will witness international matches between a visiting Port Moresby Under 14 side and local sides at the Slomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) Academy and Lawson Tama Stadium.
The visiting Port Moresby team will arrive on Saturday and be accommodated at the SIFF Academy Allan Boso complex.
They will play in a round-robin competition against five local teams, Kossa, Koloale and Marist Schools of Excellence and two primary school teams from Florence Young and Mbua Valley.
On Sunday, the visting PNG side will take on a Under 14 select made up of players who represented the country in Fiji and PNG in the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Youth Festival in 2006 and 2007 respectively in another competition called the ‘Junior Wantok Cup’.
