With just two points separating the sides, a win for Premier League newcomers Golden Star will give them a one-point lead over last season’s champions.
Erakor have risen rapidly through the ranks since arriving in the league this season after being crowned the 2011/12 First Division Champion and Challengers Battle winners.
Aiding them in their quest for the Premier League title is up-and-coming defender Jack Wanemut, who scored his first premier league goal against Tafea in October.
The stand out 15-year-old has also been selected for the U-17 national training squad, who are currently preparing for next year’s OFC U-17 Championship.
Earlier this month, players and spectators were also praising the talents of super-sub Jack Niko after he came on in the 65th minute against Ifira Black Bird and scored just 22 seconds later.
Also causing a stir on the pitch for Erakor are the Kaltack brothers, captain Brian and his younger brother Tony.
The pair have been on-form all season and contributed three of the four goals scored against Shepherds United over the weekend with Tony netting a brace.
Erakor captain Brian Kaltack says he is very pleased with the way his team has been performing this season.
“We have an interesting game on Saturday against the champions and our focus is now on Amicale,” he says.
The teams will meet at 1pm on Saturday November 17 at Port Vila Stadium.
