Duncan has led the department since early 2009 and has overseen a number of significant projects during that time.
The former Football Fern leaves the confederation on good terms and with the support of General Secretary Tai Nicholas.
“We regret that Priscilla has decided to move on at this time but we wish her all the best for the future,” says Nicholas.
“She has been an integral part of the team and on behalf of OFC I would like to thank Priscilla for her unwavering commitment and professionalism.”
In her time at OFC, Duncan managed the successful revamp of oceaniafootball.com while overseeing the development of websites and social media platforms to ensure all 11 member associations had an online presence for the first time.
The 29-year-old delivered key projects such as the introduction of the annual Media Officer Workshop and the launch of a brand new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system while also being involved in groundbreaking television ventures.
Other highlights included working as a media officer at the 2010 FIFA World Cup and 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup and representing OFC on the FIFA Media Committee.
“My time at OFC has been an incredible journey both professionally and personally,” says Duncan.
“It has been a privilege to work in the sport that I love while experiencing the rich tapestry of cultures that make up the Pacific. I feel the time is right to explore new opportunities but hope to be involved in football and in the region at some point again. I leave OFC with deep respect for the football family for whom it was a pleasure to serve.”
Duncan will leave OFC on Thursday 12 July and head to London to work at the Olympics before staying on in Europe.
No immediate successor has been appointed. OFC’s present Media and Communications Coordinator Daniel Markham will lead the department “ad interim”.
