PORT VILA: Vanuatu’s season opening Port Vila Football League Sunrice Cup has now entered the knockout stage after three weeks of round matches.
The semi-final matches remain will be played at Korman and Port Vila Stadium. Independence Knockout winners, Shepherds United play Yatel while League Champions Tafea plays Erakor who created the upset of the Cup by knocking out top team Severners United.
The Division 2 and under 20 gradews will also have their semi-finals this weekend.
At the completion of the PVFL Sunrice Cup, promotion for the upcoming VB League Championship Cup will commence. The winner of this competition will represent Vanuatu in the Oceania Club Championships in Tahiti in 2005.
