Amical FC have taken their first Vanuatu TVL Cup title by beating Tafea FC 1-0 at Port-Vila Stadium on the weekend.
The season’s crowning match saw a reversal of the 2008 final as Amical turned the tables on that 0-1 loss and broke Tafea’s fourteen year strangle hold on the Cup competition.
Robert Yelleo proved the hero for Amical as he converted an eighteenth minute penalty with a powerful shot past the keeper.
