The league is an initiative implemented by the FFS technical department which saw 80 boys and girls take part in the national youth league, before being divided into four teams for the six-week long All Star League.
Two divisions were created a U-12 and U-15, with the finals for the U-15 All Star League scheduled to take place on 22 June.
The goal of programme is to target players with potential and provide them with the opportunity to compete at a higher level and a pathway towards elite youth football.
The next step for technical staff will be selecting players to attend the FFS Centre of Development where they will train twice-a-week at the FFS Academy.
Apolima Vikings’ coach Faanunu Ropeti, a former Samoa national team member, said she was very pleased with the performance of her players in the competition, and in the final especially.
“This is my first time coaching a rep team and I am pleased with the result,” Ropeti said.
She added that she was happy to have had the opportunity to take part in the programme and thanked the FFS technical team for their assistance throughout the competition.
