Pirae might be surprised by the unfancied Lupe – the Samoans have taken the game to last year’s semi-finalists. When settled, Pirae looks in control of the match, but with their pace and dead-ball skill Lupe are a threat. For Lupe, Scott Gannon has been a standout, while the attacking quartet of Heiarii Tavanae, Jay Warren, Teaonui Tehau and Roonui Tinirauarii have impressed for Pirae.
