On 16 November Black Roses beat the Tafuna Jets 8-0 while in other games it was Utulei Youth 3-0 Lion Heart, Ilaoa & To’omata 3-1 Kiwi Soccers and Green Bay 3-0 PanSa in a forfeited match. PanSa is now out of the competition with two forfeits.
The team with the most points by the end of the round-robin competition will be crowned champions.
Kiwi is third with nine points, followed by Green Bay with seven, Ilaoa & To’omata with six, Tafuna Jets in sixth with 1 and Lion Heart at seventh with 0.
ILAOA & TO’OMATA 3-1 KIWI SOCCERS
Ilaoa & To’omata handed a short-handed Kiwi their first loss of the season and the loss also helped to ease the congestion at the top of the table with the latter falling out of the top spot and down to third.
Kiwi was the top team going into Round 4 but have a big fight if they want to regain the competition’s No. 1 position.
UTULEI YOUTH 3-0 LION HEART
Fiapa’ipa’i Siatu’u scored twice to help Utulei Youth fight off a very feisty Lion Heart.
The win helps them keep pace with Black Roses for the coveted No. 1 seed.
BLACK ROSES 8-0 TAFUNA JETS
Meleane Ioapo scored four goals while Lornalisa Sagapolutele added three in their win that helped elevate them to the top of the standings at the completion of Round 4.
They need to win their last three games, including a match against No. 2 Utulei Youth, to earn the women’s President Cup title for a second year in a row.
