Amical FC made their way to a 2-0 win over newcomers Shepherds United FC thanks to a first-half Robert Yelou goal and another strike from super sub Jerry Shem in the second spell.
Shepherds had their moments in the game but failed to capitalise on their numerous chances.
The match was a replay of the Independence Cup finale which saw Shepherds playing in their first ever final in the premier division after a huge first division success. Amical emerged from that clash with a narrow 3-2 win.

In the weekend’s other semi final, Tafea claimed a narrow 2-1 victory over Spirit 08.
Spirit got onto the scoresheet first with a superb Robert Tasso goal but failed to keep the momentum going and could not prevent Tafea coming from behind thanks to Francois Sakama and Silas Namatak goals at the end of the second half.
It was a case of experience versus youth with Tafea fielding a veteran side packed with national reps.
Amical will take on Tafea in the TVL Cup final this Saturday at Port Vila Stadium.
