3′ GOAL – 1-0 Auckland City – ‘Cannon shooter Ki-Hyung Lee fires home a freekick from just outside the box to give CIty a 1-0 lead
6′ Totori heads over from close range. An exciting start to this one
9′ Jake Butler fires just over from outside the box after a deep corner from Waitakere. Waitakere are looking dangerous going forward.
11′ – Ki-Hyung Lee fires one straight at Waitakere goalkeeper Richard Gillispie from long range. Keryn Jordan and Grant Young are linking up well in the Auckland attack.
14′ – Its an open start to this one with the action flowing from end to end at a fast pace.
16′ – Ki-Hyung Lee fires another freekick from outside the box straight at Gillispie.
18′ – Jordan rattles one off the cross bar after jinxing his way down the right and getting a step on Jonathan Perry. Great effort.

29′ – PENALTY – Tamati Williams Brings down Pearce in the box and Referee Norbert Hauata points to the spot

30′- GOAL – AUCKLAND 1 – Waitakere 1 -Pearce rattles his spot kick off the cross bar but the ball crosses the line and the goal is awarded 1-1
31′ – YELLOW CARD – Ki-Hyung Lee goes in the book for a foul on Benjamin Totori
32 – Danny Hay rises highest to meet a Waitakere corner and his header is cleared off the line by Chad Coombes
33′- Tamati Williams swipes at a backpass and nearly misses it. The ball spins off his boot and rolls back toward his goal before he clears the danger.
34′ – Ki Hyung has a freekick just oustide the box but rifles the ball at the wall.
39′ – George Suri takes out his fellow countryman Benjamin Totori on the sideline. Clean tackle but Totori is feeling it.
41′ – Great turn from Keryn Jordan just outside the box. His shot is deflected out for a corner.
43′ – Grant Young has time and space outside the box for Auckland, but his shot is high and wide
45′ – Bale hits a shot from 40 yards out that cannons off the post and out for a goal kick. A really ambitious effort nearly paid off.
HALFTIME – It’s been a very even and open contest with both sides playing some attractive football. Benjamin Totori has been causing Auckland problems on both flanks for Waitakere while Keryn Jordan looks back to his best with a series of sharp turns and clever runs inside the box.
Both sides have hit the woodwork in the first half and this game could swing either way.
50′ – Auckland have the first chance of the second half as Joel Matthews squares the ball across the 6 yard box but Grant Youngs outstretched boot can’t quite reach it.
53′ Jordan tries his luck from 30 yards out for Auckland but his shot dribbles wide.

73′ – Totori finds a yard of space outside the Auckland area and hits a rocket which Williams manages to hold.
74′ – Auckland are throwing everything at this Waitakere defence but still can’t seem to break through and have to keep resorting to shooting from long distance.

78′ – Wonderful build up play from Allen Pearce and Jason Hayne puts the ball on a plate for Jake Butler, but he fires his shot high over the bar from 8 yards out
