Despite the loss coach Frank Farina says he is happy with the performance of all the players.
“I am really impressed with the way the boys played out there,” Farina says.
“Our opponents are professionals and the club is in La Liga here, but our boys matched it with them and the contest was fairly even.
“The boys are playing the style of football they are learning during training.
“We played good structure and a good style of football, and I am very pleased that there is a link between what we are doing at training and in the games.”
Ahead of the next match on 20 January against Hercules Farina hopes to see his side improve their work keeping possession of the football.
“Right now the boys lose possession quickly which gives advantage to the opponents,” he says.
“We will go back on the drawing board and iron out our weaknesses.”
