The league is organised by the Luganville Football Association in Luganville, Santo with matches played at Luganville Soccer City Stadium, which played host to the OFC U-17 Championship in April this year.
Luganville FA vice-president Barthelemy Ngwele said he expects it to be another exciting season of quality football and hopes to see the public continue to turn out in support of their favourite teams.
In the Premier Division the early lead has gone to Torba United FC who, as the only side to record a win at the weekend, sits on three points.
The match between Vaum United and Malampa Revivors ended in Malampa’s favour 2-1 but as the referee ended the match ten minutes early the match is expected to be replayed at some stage this week.
In the First Division a win a-piece for Kole and Eastern Star means they sit at in the top half of the table while Sarakata and Matevulu round out the standings.
The league is scheduled to continue into 2014, with the winner going on to take part in the VFF National Super League competition.
