Mrs. Selby said she is very happy with the participating women because they are very responsive and keen to learn. They are given lectures in the classroom and practical on the field, she said.
She said she could see more skills and talents in the PNG women. If they are given more training, then women’s football in PNG will receive a big boost.
After this course the women will go back to their local associations and help coach the U12 and U10 teams.
Mr. Max Foster and Mrs. Sussie Mileng are assisting Mrs. Selby during practical sessions on the training field.
Mrs. Selby said Mrs. Sussie Mileng will possibly be attending an instructor’s course in New Zealand at the OFC academy this year.
