Parymartyr came out strong in the first period with Amicale playmaker Jack Wetney appearing for his home country but Aveck’s defending was on point.
Up 3-2 before the end of the first half the host club continued their scoring ways to put three more goals in the back of the net to secure a 6-3 win and the trophy.
The visitors were boosted by the inclusion of a number of Kurukuru but it wasn’t enough to undo the hosts as they constantly added to their tally.
It’s the second straight loss in the final for the Kings after they were defeated by Tupuji Majik in last year’s final.
In the third place play-off Tupuji Majik beat Solomon Islands team The Saints FC 8-3 for the final podium spot.
In the individual awards the Best Goalkeeper went to Clifford Sansan of Paramartyr Kings, Best player was awarded to Morison Lui of Aveck and the Top Scorer was Pako Rakom of Tupuji.
Club sides from Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and New Caledonia compete in the annual Wantok Futsal Cup.
The one week competition also ran cocurrently with the U-12 and U-15 futsal tournaments which were well attended by local kids.
Black Sand took out the U-12 competition while first place in the U-15 division went to VMF FC.
