It is only the second time all 11 OFC member associations have entered an Oceania competition since 2006.

The official draw for the OFC U-17 Championship was conducted at the OFC headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand, by OFC Head of Competitions Michael Song with the assistance of members of the OFC General Secretariat and before guests from New Zealand Football.

The teams will play each other once in a round robin tournament based on a league system with the top two teams advancing to the semi-finals in Pago Pago.
The competition concludes with a one-off final in Pago Pago on January 27.

New Zealand’s Young All Whites are the defending champions of Oceania at U-17 level after earning the title in 2013 and going on to compete at that year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup in UAE.
