The Group B matches between co-hosts American Samoa and Solomon Islands, and the top of the table clash featuring Tahiti and Vanuatu, were originally scheduled to be played at Pago Pago Soccer Stadium, but both have now been shifted to Kanana Fou Theological Seminary.

OFC Head of Competitions, Michael Song, explained the process behind the decision to switch the venue of the matches.
“Our desire has always been to see all group games in American Samoa played at Pago Pago Soccer Park.
“Unfortunately, due to the wet weather and deteriorating pitch conditions, and in consultation with all parties, it is now clear that this cannot be guaranteed.

“As a result, we have decided to switch the venues from Pago Pago Soccer Stadium to the facility at Kanana Fou.
“I would like to acknowledge the collegiate approach taken by all stakeholders in making this change,” concluded Song.

The 32.5-acre campus at Kanana Fou Theological Seminary is located in the heart of residential and business area of Tafuna and plays host to sports events throughout the year.
The kick-off times for the matches have not been affected with the change of venue with American Samoa and Solomon Islands playing at 1pm local time. The game between Tahiti and Vanuatu is scheduled for 3.30pm local time.
