A trio of male referees have been named in the pool of officials for international matches with Central Football’s Matt Conger joining Peter O’Leary (Northern Football) and Nick Waldron (Auckland Football).
Anna-Marie Keighley is again included on the women’s international list.
Waikato Bay of Plenty’s Sarah Walker is named for the first time on the women’s assistant referee list, joining Nadia Browning (Waikato Bay of Plenty) and Capital Football’s Jacqui Stephenson.
Four male assistant referees have been included as Jan-Hendrik Hintz and Nick van der Salm (both Auckland Football) are joined by Capital Football’s Simon Lount and Central Football’s Mark Rule. O’Leary, Hintz and Rule were named earlier in January to attend the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Meanwhile, Mainland Football’s Chris Sinclair is named as a FIFA Futsal referee for the first time, becoming the first New Zealand official in 15 years to reach international level.
