Two goals in the first half gives Real Kakamora their first three points and put them on a positive track for the 2014/2015 S-League season.
Real Kakamora didn’t wait long to show their intentions in this game when international Nicholas Muri finds Polycarp Bonave after eight minutes of play.
Kakamora opens the scoring on the 22nd minute by Nicholas Muri. Muri, who represented his country at three Beach Soccer World Cups, finds the back of the net following a goalmouth scramble.
Four minutes after scoring Muri connects with Lyson Wate but his header misses the target.
Lyson Wate didn’t miss the opportunity to double the scoring for Kakamora when he scored on 39th minute with a shot from outside the box and gives no chances to X-Beam goalkeeper Polycarp Bonave.
X-Beam’s situation got more complicated when Captain Jeremy Masalo was sent off a minute before half-time.
In the second half, the Luke Eroi’s men tried to reduce the scoring but Jay Kiri’s shot at the 61st minute is easily saved by Nicholas Tara’aito.
Real Kakamora was close to scoring a third goal but Bonave’s quick reaction in front of the goal avoided the own goal.
In the other game, Hana took the best over Koloale after defeating former champions 3-2 in Lawson Tama.

Hana come back in the game and equalised on the 27th minute thanks to Boni Pride. Few minutes later, Japanese player Takahiro Oka gives the lead to Hana after converting a penalty. The first half ended on a 2-1 lead for Hana.
Back from the changing room it is Honiara-based club Hana put pressure on Koloale’s goal and Steven Aretana tries his best to clear Jeffery Wasi’s shot but his clearance finishes on the wrong side of the line to give Hana a 3-1 leadership on the scoreboard.
The 2009 OFC Champions League finalists reduce the scoring on the 89th minute. Captain Joe Luwi finds the back of the net with a spectacular free-kick.
Hana resists until the final whistle to keep their one-goal advantage and finally beat Koloale 3-2 in the opening day of the 2014/2015 S-League.
