The prolific attack of AS Lossi ran rampant on Saturday afternoon as they scored 11 goals against JS Baco to inflict the heaviest defeat in the clubs history.

With the win Lossi moves into second spot in the Super Ligue ladder one point behind leaders Hienghene who scored a 4-0 win over AS Temala

Jacques Haeko did most of the damage for Lossi scoring five goals and playing a hand in three others in a nightmare match for Baco where they were reduced down to nine men.

Baco were without injured captain Jean-Marc Ounemoa, and his young replacement Rene Villepreux gifted Lossi their first goal after missing an aerial challenge with Haeko inside the box, which the striker clinically put away after 14 minutes.

Baco were reduced to ten players when FrandziTiaouniane was sent off in the 25th minute for a foul inside the box. The converted penalty opened the floodgates for Lossi and goals from J-M Hmaloko 31’.43’, J Wahnyamalla 39’,59’, 81’, and Hnautra 79’ completed the rout.

Things went from bad to worse in the 77th minute when Gregory Wabealo was sent off after receiving his second bookable offence, reducing Baco to nine players.

The eleven goal margin was the largest ever for AS Lossi, and a day for them to remember – but one for Baco to forget.

Hienghène recorded their second consecutive home win on Saturday after defeating AS Temala 4-0.

Hienghene put the game to bed early with three quick goals in the first half with goals to Kevin Tein, Miguel Kayara and Marcellino Teouei. Kayara completed the scoring with the fourth goal in the second half.

With the win Heinghene sit on top of the Super Ligue with 9 points, while AS Lossi sit one point behind on 8 and Baco third on 6 points.

The table is likely to change this week with AS Magenta hosting AS Mouli tomorrow evening and Mount Gilds and Thio meeting on Friday.
