HONIARA, Match 8: Tahiti struggled to a 2-0 win over Tonga in the second match of round 4 in the Stage 1 (Group 1) OFC Nations Cup/FIFA World Cup preliminaries in Honiara today.
Tonga conceded an early goal when Gabriel Wajoka got Tahiti in front as they searched for a big score to improve their goal difference.
But from there, the Tongans were able to hold the Tahitians until the dying minutes when Axel Temataua scored to secure a 2-0 win for his side.
