The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) O-League Group B fixtures scheduled for Monday 29th January, 2007, between Ba (Fiji) and Marist FC (Solomon Islands) and Friday 2nd January, 2007, between AS Temanava (Tahiti) and Marist FC (Solomon Islands) have been deferred due to a technical fault with a Solomon Airlines aircraft.

The Marist FC squad has therefore been unable to leave the Solomon Islands and has now returned to its training camp at the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) Academy.

Marist FC Team Manager Paul Mwaritara said the club was helpless to do anything about the situation and that both matches in Fiji and Tahiti will have to be re-scheduled.

OFC Head of Competitions Seamus Marten says both matches will be rescheduled for February.
