Rojas has to sit out the next four to six weeks of pre-season training due to a fracture if the right second metatarsal, meaning he may miss the start of the Bundesliga season which Stuttgart are due to open in Mainz on 11 August.
The 21-year-old was voted the A-League’s player of the year during what proved to be his final season with the Melbourne Victory. He left the Australian club on a free transfer in April, signing a contract with Stuttgart until 2017.
