On Saturday, Leicester were 2-1 winners over Sheffield Wednesday, with Wood helping set up one of his side’s goals, and needed Queens Park Rangers and Derby not to win their matches on Sunday.
QPR were beaten 2-1 by Bournemouth, while Derby lost 1-0 to Middlesbrough, meaning Leicester will return to the top flight of English football for the first time since 2004 for the 2014-15 campaign.
