The 3-0 victory over first-time finalists Malampa Revivers at Luganville Soccer City Stadium secured Amicale’s seventh national crown.
It also means another trip to the OFC Champions League, where they have twice achieved runner-up finishes in the past.
Goals to Jackson Tasso, Fenedy Masauvakalo and the Southern Region’s top scorer James Naka did much of the damage in Saturday’s final, as Malampa struggled to match the sheer pace of the Amicale side in attack.
Amicale captain Mauro Boerchio said his team would enjoy the moment, but already had their eyes set on the OFC Champions League next year.
“I am very happy to win the National Super League today, but we have more silverware to try and win yet,” the Italian said.
“We want to make sure our fans are happy in next year’s OFC competition.”
In the third place play-off, which was played earlier in the day at Luganville Soccer City Stadium, Port Vila club Ifira Black Bird beat Vaum United 3-2.
