The Oceania All Stars will get their first run at Mount Smart Stadium tomorrow afternoon just two days out from the “Beautiful Game” match with David Beckham and the LA Galaxy.
The All Stars will be available for media activity from 14h15 to 14h45 pitch-side before taking to the field for a light session under the watchful eyes of coaches Jim Selby and Colin Tuaa.
Squad newcomers Cole Peverley, Christian Karembeu and Mark Bosnich will train with their team-mates for the first time.
The Oceania All Stars went down 2-0 to FIFA Club World Cup bound Waitakere United at North Harbour Stadium today but coach Jim Selby said the opportunity to learn more about the squad had been taken.
“We took a lot out of today’s match and have now localized key areas to work on ahead of the weekend.
“Tomorrow’s session will be light as two games in two days is tough for any side but it’s important we take every chance to integrate the new players as quickly as possible,” Selby said.
