Samoana beat the Leone Lions by a whopping 10-0 thanks to Deidre Maalona’s amazing feat of scoring all ten goals.
Faga’itua easily won against Tafuna Warriors 6-1 with Masaw Tanielu scoring twice for the Vikings.
Samoana (2-1-0) completes the first round-robin leading with seven points, followed by Faga’itua (1-2-0) with five, Leone (0-1-1) with one and Tafuna (0-0-2) has yet to earn a point.
The second round-robin kicks off on February 8 with Tafuna taking on Samoana while the Lions and Vikings face-off against one another.
The Sharks have won this division the last three years and the team that finishes the competition with the most points will be crowned champions.
