It’s the Melbourne-based A-League side’s first point in the competition, but it is likely still a disappointing result for the team which took the lead courtesy of a Nick Ansell goal 31 minutes in.
It took Jeonbuk just four second-half minutes to take the lead through two strikes from Lee Dong Gook to effectively end Victory’s night early.
But barely minutes after the second goal Barbarouses, who had failed to convert a one-on-one chance with keeper Choi Eun Sung in the 11th minute, made no mistake from close range.
Played in behind the defence by a long ball from captain Mark Milligan, Barbarouses beat the offside trap to run at goal and earn his side the point.
