Results of the Election of the Papua New Guinea Football Association which took place at the Papua New Guinea Football Associations’Annual General Assembly held in Kimbe, Papua New Guinea on Saturday 14th August 2004 the following people were duly elected to the PNGFA Executive Committee for 2004-2008:
President: David Chung
Senior Vice President: Seth Daniel
Junior Vice President: John Bomata
Executive Committee Members: Joe Turia, Kurt Reimann
David Chung beat the other presidential candidate Kisakiu Posman in a close vote of 11-9.
Members of the PNGFA that attended the Annual General Assembly gave praise to outgoing President – Madiu Andrew (who did not stand for re-election) for his hard work and achievements over the last 4 years. Other former members of the PNGFA Executive Committee who did not stand for re-election were Cathy Davani, Noel Mobiha and Joe Toman.
