The OFC U-20 Men’s Championship is being held at ANZ Stadium in Suva, from 23 to 31 May.
With New Zealand having qualified as hosts of the FIFA U-20 Men’s World Cup, OFC has a second opportunity to impress in this age-group, with the final team to qualify set to be one from American Samoa, Fiji, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands or Vanuatu.
The tournament will take the form of a round-robin championship where the team with the most points after the final day’s action will become just the second non-Australian or non-New Zealand nation to qualify for the FIFA event at this level, the first being Tahiti in 2009.
The draw was conducted on Tuesday 29 April at the OFC Headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand by the OFC Secretariat and reveals the order of play as the six nations vie for their ticket to New Zealand.
