Nineteen coaches participated on the one-week coaching course, led by OFC head of coach education Didier Chambaron, in a bid to upgrade their skills in order to better serve the local playing community.
“The course was a success and I am impressed with the coaches,” Buzzetti said. “These coaches will be a good asset for the development of football in their districts.”
Meanwhile, three coaches are on the verge of achieving the highest available OFC coaching credentials following their recent B Licence assessment conducted by Chambaron during the same visit.
Imdad Ali, Ravinesh Kumar and Usenio Logaivau were all under scrutiny as they look to earn their qualifications.
“The B Licence coaching course is top level and I am impressed with Ali, Kumar and Logaivau as they have done well to reach up to this level.”
