In a few short years, 18-year-old Lositika Feke has scaled the kind of heights young girls across the Pacific have only dreamt of.

She’s represented her country across every available level and in 2018 was among the first Tongans to play at a FIFA tournament.

Feke was one of ten athletes who competed in the futsal tournament at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, appearing in each of the team’s three matches. Later that same year she earned her first senior caps with Tonga at the OFC Women’s Nations Cup.

The attacker has been playing for Longolongo FC since 2015, and continues to play for her local club as she hones the skills she hopes will assist Tonga in their pursuit of tickets for Tonga to the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Don’t let life’s challenges discourage you from chasing your dreams.. you can do it, I can do it. We all can do it.”
