“This is a historical event in the name of Vanuatu Football and its faithful fans and we want to thank FIFA and especially Coca Cola Global who sponsored the trip to Vanuatu.
“Our government Ministers and members of parliament with the national football players and sponsors are looking forward to take photos with the World Cup Trophy tomorrow.” Said the Minister of Sport, Honourable Tony Wright.
President of Vanuatu Football, Lambert Maltock also welcomed the delegation.
“Football is truly the number one sport in the World and to have the trophy here in Vanuatu is like a football blessings to all our football players and supporters.
“Even if not every fan will take photos with the trophy, I believe the spirit of the World Cup or football is very strong in the hearts of all the fans.”

The FIFA delegation escorted by the Police and Vanuatu Mobile Force to Hotel Le Lagoon after the Airport Welcome ceremony.
Tomorrow the trophy will be unveiled at the Parliament house at 10am by the President of the Republic of Vanuatu, His Excellency Iolu Abbil with speeches from VFF President Lambert Maltock and FIFA delegation.
In the evening at 7pm, there will be a Gala night for all sponsors and invited guest at Le Lagoon Hotel.
